A good mystery novel will make the readers curious and thoughtful. Curiosity is one of the instinctive characteristics of a human being. When reading a well-written mystery novel, the reader will have curiosity regarding its mysterious plot which makes them think about what will happen next, or who the murderer is.

This will keep the reader interested and thinking about the plot. Harry Potter is another popular series of mystery novels. You won’t know where Voldemort’s horcruxes are until the book reveals them to you. This will cause you to think about where they are.
