I do believe, whimsically, that

Love is the brightest star in the cosmos.

It shines through eternity, free and soaring.

Kindling pure flame that lights up even the realm of Satan,

Evoking the spirits that only exist in fantastical imagination.

Years fly past in the blink of an eye.

Oh, even the Gods cannot resist the whims of Fate.

Utterly stunning, but truthfully indeed, the

Star makes the Three Goddesses[i] shed tears of disheartenment.

In the doom of the Ragnarök[ii], when time even comes to an end.

Sanctifying Gods, giants, and monsters alike, the

Star’s radiant pierces through.

It will live on, forever, into light and darkness.

I do believe, whimsically, that

Love is the brightest star in the cosmos.

It shines through you and me, unbounded.

Kindreds of us have proven its power,

Earthly desires cannot match its magic.

The Lord of the Underworld[iii] questions the power of such brightness,

Have not mortal men have fear for those that lurk in the dark?

And does not hell bereave Demeter even of her own daughter[iv]?

The answer but will be one and crystal clear, the

Star shall not allow darkness to prevail, even if Armageddon[v] falls!

The light shall bind two souls together,

And restore the world to ones that drink from the water of Lethe[vi].

Righteously and harmoniously, its story continues between you and me.

我的确，异想天开地相信，

爱情是宇宙中最亮的那颗星。

闪耀着永恒，自由地翱翔。

激起了点燃撒旦王国的洁白火焰，

惊醒那些只存在于童话想象中的灵巧精灵。

岁月转瞬即逝，

哦，甚至神灵都无法阻止命运的意志！

让人震惊如此，但却真切如此，

那颗星让命运三女神[vii]留下沮丧的眼泪。

当诸神的黄昏[viii]到来，当时间甚至走向了尽头，

使神明、巨人以及怪物都显灵，

那颗星的荣光穿透一切，

它将永存，不管是光明还是黑暗。

我的确，异想天开地相信，

爱情是宇宙中最亮的那颗星。

它的光芒穿越你和我，无法阻拦。

我们的同类已经证明了它的力量，

尘世的欲望无法与其魔力相比拟。

黑暗王国的领主[ix]质疑它光明的力量，

难道凡人不应害怕在黑暗中暗藏的一切？

难道地狱没有将德墨忒尔的女儿掳去[x]？

但清晰的答案只有一个，

那颗星不会让黑暗胜利，即使大决战[xi]最终降临！

其光芒将把两个灵魂粘合在一块，

并将世界返还给那些从勒忒河[xii]中饮水的男女。

正义地、和谐地，它的故事将在你和我之间继续。

[ii] Ragnarök: The doom of the Norse Gods, including Thor, Loki. It involves a gigantic battle between the Gods, monsters, and Giants, when floods engulf the world.

[iii] Lord of the Underworld: This refers to Hades, the God and Lord of the Underworld in Greek Mythology

[iv] In Greek mythology, Demeter, the Goddess of Agriculture’s daughter, Persephone, is raved from Demeter by Hades. Persephone needs to send six months in the underworld as a result.

[v] Armageddon: The ultimate battle between the good and the evil in The Bible.

[vi] River of Lethe: A river that runs through the underworld. People who drink it lose all memories of the world.
